Review & Makeup: NARS Guy Bourdin Crime of Passion Palette

Hi Guys,

So i received this palette as a Christmas present of my mum and i wanted to give a review of what i think about the palette and a few different looks you can do with it. I chose to do two looks a day and night one just so it gives people more choices with the palette. 

Review

So the palette comes with three eye shadows, 2 blushes and a lip gloss. The packaging is really sturdy and quite compact and because it has your main make up needs it is perfect for travelling and the mirror i find is great when you don't have a big one on hand. It does get a mucky look even if you try not to but that happens with all NARS packaging and i don't mind that.  

The eye shadows are completely new and have not been brought out before they are called, Naiade (lightest color), Jezebel (brown reddish color), Pandora (matte black color) With these eye shadows i can wear them all day and they won't of budged or lost any pigment. Another thing i like it you don't get fall out which is great if you want to work with any blacks in a hurry or just in general ha ha. I have heard that some people find it hard to blend these colors but i don't really find it that hard to do and have had other eye shadows that i find harder to blend.

Larger Than Life Lip gloss in Deep Throat, this is a peachy shimmer lip gloss and i am not really that keen on it at all. To me it's too sticky and it feels a little grainy on my lips. The color i like but don't like either too. I think if it was a pink shade i would of enjoyed it more but this doesn't suit me much.

Blush in Deep Throat, this is a sheer peach and a Bronzer in Laguna which is a brown with golden shimmer in it. With these cheek products i don't know why but they just don't show up on my cheeks. Not that i can tell of anyway. I had heard of Laguna before and people seemed to love it so i wanted to try it so i got really excited when i saw it was in this palette but to be honest i have had £2 bronzers do a better job. I just don't know why it won't show up on my cheeks. 

So what i would rate this product as out of ten: 5/10
Eyeshadows: 9/10 (love all the colors and easy to wear everyday night and day)
Lip gloss: 3/10 (don't like the consistency and the color doesn't suit me'
Cheek products: 2/10 (they just don't make a difference)
