Product not worth it!!

So last month i bought the tea tree facial pore strips by boots and i have used some before by a different make and i really liked them. But i thought id give these a try to see if there as good, because i don't judge on the price of something. But i really don't get on with these i have used all of the strips just in case i started to like them etc. You basically wash your face and whilst your face is still wet (in the place where you put them) you place them on sticky side to skin and leave until they are dry. Well when i take it off it hurts so much and pulls at your skin (like a really sticky plaster) so i have to wet the strip to take it off but then it still hurts. And if you don't wash your face after you still have the sticky stuff stuck to your skin which itches and is annoying. Also with the other facial strips ive used i can see that it has pulled my impurities out (blackheads) but with these there's nothing on them at all. So i personally wouldn't recommend these.

Thank you for reading guys and have a nice day,

September Favorites

Hi Guuuys,

So its the end of another month and this month i have been liking a few different things than last months and thought i'd share them with you. Some are products some are not but they are all my favorites of this month. So i have done a video on this if you would like to watch it i will leave a link or the video below.

So this is the Apocolips by Rimmel in the color Apocoliptic. I have been loving this color this month it is so bright and lasts quite a long time, it is so pigmented too so really good quality for the price. The only down side is that it dries my lips up and makes them sore so i do have to wear lipsils underneath.

This is the Wake me up foundation by Rimmel in the color soft beige. I didn't know whether i'd like this product or not as i have really oily skin and its not recommended for the skin type. But i do really like it. I did do a review on this product if you want to check that out but i have used it more since then and i still am loving it.

This is the Burt's Bee's Radiance night and eye cream. I got this in a set from feel unique and it did have a face wash and day cream with it also but i have that in my luggage for my boyfriends. This stuff really does work it has made me look more radiant and doesn't clog my pores up and soaks in quickly. The perfect night cream for me.

This is the bag i got a couple of weeks back of my boyfriend for a present and i love it. It is a replica for the celine bag and i got it off ebay, if you would like the link then comment below. It is really sturdy and has plenty of room in it for my everyday things.

This is my diary, file & notepad i got a while back for college from the pound shop. It is good quality and is cheap enough for being chucked in my bag for college.

I also mention in my video a few more extra favorites of mine if you check the video out then you will find out :) Have a great day everyone,

Alton Towers

So yesterday me and my boyfriend went to alton towers with a couple of daves friends also and we had such a good time. The last time I went was my 13th birthday but I had been before that a couple of times. It hadn't changed much except a few rides had been added. My favourite rides are the smiler and rita.

 The entrance
 The oblivion
 The smiler
 A couple more rides
Me and David at the end of the day infront of the castle.

I didn't get many pictures because we were so busy trying to get on all the best rides before the park closed and we were so worn out by the end of the day and my feet were killing me!! Ha ha. But over all we had a really good day :)

Hope you have a good Saturday and I will speak to you tomorrow,

Fashion Friday: Alton Towers

What I wear to a theme park...

So today me & my boyfriend and a couple more people are going to alton towers (mainly just for the new smiler ride) the last time I went there was my 14th birthday with two of my good friends. I never know what to wear to theme parks you don't want to wear too showy or too wrapped up because then your too hot ha ha. Especially if you have big boobs and they like to make an appearance (when your hanging upside down you don't really have a choice ha ha) so because its autumn and you never know with england if it will be warm or cold I went for...

  • A long sleeved basic black top from Primark
  • A pair of boyfriend ripped jeans from RI
  • A green blazer from Newlook
  • Black and tartan boots from Deichmans
  • Only stood earrings as I think rollercoasters and jewellery don't mix well
  • And just a cream mini cross body bag from the canary islands ( I think, it was a present
So I hope this helped any of you guys that may be going to a theme park soon :)

Speak to you tomorrow and have a fun day,

She also helps me out a lot, I don't ask for much off my mum I don't have to she'll do it anyway. I hope I follow in my mums footsteps through life. It would make me feel better if I did ha ha. But knowing I have her as a mum always makes me feel like the luckiest daughter alive.

Hair extension care advice

Hi guys,

So today I thought I would talk about how my hair extensions are doing and updating you on the hair care i'm doing and what changes have been their since. So I had my hair done 2 weeks ago and I have washed it 3 times in that time. I have dyed my hair since and will have to do it again also, but that's just a problem with my hair not matching properly to my extensions.

So what to do:
  • Before you have your extensions put in you should go to the place your wanting them done and have a hair match, a trim, color if needed and to figure out what length your wanting to go.
  • Before you have your extensions put in you should buy a hair extension brush (bristle brush) and some good shampoo & conditioner, preferably the non-conditioning type. If you do have dry hair from colorants etc, then do a hair mask every second wash but don't leave it on for too long. (around 3 mins)
  • Try not to wash your hair more than twice a week, my advice would be to buy a dry shampoo spray for in between.
  • Make sure you dry your hair right away if it gets wet near or on the bonds.
  • If you do use styling tools then just remember its real hair and you can dry, straighten, curl etc the same as you would your own, but the hair will get damaged so still use heat sprays and use a good oil only on the ends of your hair after.
  • When going to bed it's better to put your hair in a braid to prevent your extensions getting notty
  • If you go swimming then make sure you either don't get your hair wet or wear a swim cap. As you don't want the chemicals to get on your hair extensions or your bonds.
  • When you are wanting them taken out make sure you always go back to the stylist don't do them yourself.
  • Be careful when using heated tools to not touch the glue as it will melt it
Remember that i am not a professional by any means these are just the things i do with mine. Plus if you do have any questions remember that's what your stylist is there for and they are there to help and give you advice.

Hope this helped guys,

Love Christina xox

What to send to your soldier

Hi Guys,

So i remember when Dave was on tour i didn't have a clue what to send him and what not to send him. There was some help but only from America and they have all different things that us English people do so i thought i would share what i sent Dave or what he told me what he'd like and not like to have sent. Obviously they are grateful for every little thing you send them but it's like a Christmas present you don't want ha ha.

So these are some ideas of what to send them:

  • Pot noodles/super noodles - as they only have fixed meals a day and if they are men they'll probably still want extra to eat and these are quick and simple and filling.
  • Instant hot chocolates - the ones that are already in the cups are really good they don't even have to be the chocolate ones there is different types. E.g bovril, coffee etc. Preferably only send these in the winter or ask them if they want them in the warm seasons
  • Sweets - i always sent haribos so them types of sweets
  • Peanuts - or savory snacks
  • Crisps
  • Biscuits
  • Roll on deodorant (when needed)
  • Shower gels (when needed)
  •  Tooth paste & Toothbrush (when needed)
  • Hand & Feet warmers for the winter tours
  • A teddy :) (youd be suprised)
  • Game books, Sudoku etc
  • Letters, cards & pictures
  • Always make sure the address is right and put yours on the back just in case
What not to send:

  • Don't send anything that can melt or at least ask the soldier your sending it to or things could be messy ha ha
  • Be careful what type of pictures you send, letters/parcels can be checked and you wouldn't want anybody else seeing certain things (naughty pictures)
  • Don't send aerosols they get sent by air so they could explode in the parcel and they will get taken out
  • If you send anything glass make sure you wrap it up really well so it doesn't smash
  • Don't send anything that you need a microwave for
  • Don't send fizzy drinks or bottled drinks incase again because their been sent by air they might explode
  • Nothing too big remember your soldier has to keep it their with him and also fetch it back ha ha
How often should you send things:

  • I sent things every 3 weeks so he had one every month but that was because i didn't want to overload him with things and other people were sending him parcels etc so he did stock up on a few things abit too much
  • Parcels etc can take up to 2 weeks to get there so if your wanting it to be there for a certain occasion christmas etc then send them a couple of weeks before to make sure it gets there in time.
Extra tips:

  • If you go to your local post office there is a weight you can send parcels to your soldier for free
  • I used to send things in shoe boxes they were the best sort of boxes and the right sizes so don't chuck any out ha ha
  • You could do themed boxes for example, i did a birthday box and inside i sellotaped wrapping paper and then put some balloons etc n (not blown up obviously) its just nice for your soldier to have some things normal and nice out there.
  • I used to put everything in the box make sure every gap is sellotaped really good to make sure it doesn't come open. After that i used to get the brown wrapping paper you get from the post office or a stationary shop and wrap the box in that. Then i used to write the address on a piece of paper and put sellotape over it incase it got wet and smudged then do the same on the back with your address on it just in case it needs sending back etc

I hope this has helped you by giving you some ideas. If you have any other ideas or anything to add to then please leave a comment.

Tips for being with a deployed soldier

Hi guys,

So today i thought i would share with you some of my tips on keeping a free mind and not over thinking etc etc. Now i know we are only human and the person we love is going away for a long period of time not just on a business trip abroad but to war. But you have to keep your head high and stay strong not just for yourself but for your soldier too.

  • Write letter's or keep a diary. - Now some people find it hard to speak out to people or might feel like they don't have anybody to speak to. I had nobody in my life that had been through this and all thought i was crazy. And sometimes its just not enough talking to your loved one. I found writing my feelings down helped a lot and sometimes to David and sometimes in a diary. It helps clear a lot of thoughts from your brain.
  • Plan for the future - I don't mean book holidays etc i mean talk about the future, plan on doing something fun and rewarding for you both for when they get back. If you have something to look forward to it makes time go by quicker and makes you smile!!
  • Keep him involved - If you need help with something ask him. A man loves to feel needed for something and just because he isn't there physically doesn't mean he isn't mentally. Especially if he's already the man of the house.
  • Have me time - Its important that you have time to yourself, you need to relax maybe take a long bubble bath or a pamper night or a girls night (you get the idea) Your partner wants you to still be happy. He'd still play xbox if it was the other way round!! ha ha.
  • Send him/her things - Whether it be a card, letter, parcel. You'd be surprised how happy it makes them by receiving things. And you feel like you've accomplished something too. Plus it keeps you busy and it gives you an excuse to go shopping!!

I really hope this has helped and if it has please let me know, or if you have any tips that you think could help too then do tell. And anybody whos reading this that does have a loved one deployed or you yourself or have been deployed. I just want to say thank you so much for everything you have done and i hope you stay safe and every good happens to you too, because you all deserve it!!

One year since...

Hi Guys,

So this time last year David was dropping me off at work and on his way back to camp to go to Afghanistan. We had only been together 2 days and only dating for a few weeks, but i agreed to wait for him. I knew what i was getting myself into and what i had to do/be like in order to take our relationship to that level. It takes a lot of trust and patience and love to do something like that. But you know when you have met someone that you would do ANYTHING for them and to be with them. And if it meant waiting 7 months then so be it. I knew it was going to be worth it, and it definitely was. But it was also one of the scariest things i had put myself into. People were saying good things about it and some were saying bad, but it doesn't matter what they say as long as you have people there to support you in the decision your making, do what your heart wants you to do.

I remember when he dropped me off at the town center where i used to work and i thought i was fine but as i started walking and he drove off i felt like i was going to collapse like a part of me was being took away and i felt something that i had never felt before and i was stood in the middle of the high street forcing tears back not knowing whether to slap my self or chase after him ha ha. But i knew nothing was going to change him going it was his job and he had a duty to call for. So i got to work and could i concentrate, could i ek... I locked myself in the loft where all the stock was and just sat there and thought about him. I just wanted to be at home, there for him at any time he needed.

So i left my job, i knew it was the right thing to do. I couldn't focus on my job and supporting David. So throughout the 7 months i did a few weeks training but that was all... We talked nearly everyday, if the internet etc wasn't down i was talking to him (and obviously when he wasn't working) at all hours too. Pages we'd write to each other i don't know how we did it. We just never got bored of talking there was always something to talk about. And it was good it kept him distracted and happy for the little while and also me. We also wrote letters to each other, it was different then face book i felt closer to him because there was something of mine there with him. I sent him packages of all his favorite things, fun stuff. Just so i knew he was smiling that meant the hole to me. Knowing he was smiling.

Before we knew it 2 1/2 months had past and he was coming home on his R&R. Jeeez was i happy to have him home ha ha. Well i was happy with him being home but the fact he turned up at half 4 in the morning that i wasn't happy about. We had the BEST time ever! We visited his mum down in wales for a long weekend and it was so cosy and shes so lovely. Then we went to his hometown near London for a week and met his new baby nephew and he is the cutest ever!! And we went to Madame Tussauds, Sealife, London eye etc... then we spent the rest of it up at mine and before we knew it he was saying his goodbyes again.

The rest of the months were tougher because it was our first christmas, his birthday, new years, v.day etc... But we did it and hes back and safe and im never letting him out of my sight again!! ha ha. And if you reading this david, I am so so proud of you and you are the best person in the world and you deserve every good thing in the world to happen to you for doing your part for this country. Your the nicest most selfless person i know and i am so proud to call you my boyfriend and i will be forever. I love you to the moon & back :)

Sorry if you think this is a bit long or sad. But it helped me a lot reading this sort of stuff from other military girlfriends etc. And i wanted to do the same for anybody else out there that's in the same position i was in.

one year anniversary

Hello Guys & Gals,

Awwwww shucks! It's that time of the year where i have to buy Dave presents AGAIN!! ha ha jooooking!! No it isn't its an amazing time and i love that this milestone has finally come we both are so happy together and i know i have found someone i would be happy to share my bathroom with... If that isn't love then i don't know what is. But seriously this guy could not get any more perfect for me and I love him with every bit of my heart.

We have now been together for one year but he has been away for more than half of that but there is sacrifices you make to be with somebody you love. We met through our parents his dads friends with my mum and we went down to stay at his which is down south for a week. It was back in 09/10 I think but I might be wrong ha ha. I was only around 14/15 when I first met him and he was on his back from the army for the weekend we didn't talk much because obviously he was alot older than me.

But a couple of years later he found me from my mums Facebook and we talked and caught up and I was 18 then so it was okay to talk ha ha. But he just made me smile so much and he was so nice and when he came down and took me on a weekend long date I just knew I was keeping him forever :-D and so far he's let me so alllll good! Ha ha.

So happy 1st anniversary to my amazing boyfriend or to anybody else whos celebrating there anniversary with their loved ones today.

Thanks for reading guys and ill speak to you soon,

Gel Nails Review

Hi Guys,

So for the past two months i have had gel nails done by my local beautician. I will insert pictures of the two different nails i had done and then one of how my nails looked after. I really liked these type of nails and preferred them over the acrylic ones. But that doesn't mean i wouldn't have the acrylic type again i would just have them if i was going somewhere fancy ha ha. These sort of nails are good if you don't like long nails or your older or nail polish annoys you by its chipping. This is like a nail polish except it doesn't chip, your nails don't break and for me my nails got a lot stronger.

It lasts up to 3 weeks and you can get practically any color depending on what your beautician had stocked. There is also at home gel nail kits online that i may just have to purchase because if your wanting them done all the time it works out a lot cheaper to do them yourself than at the salon. If you would like to know more about how they do it, and just in more depth then ask your local beautician because i'm no professional and can only give you my experience and know how on them.

So this is the two nails i had done. They both lasted me 3 weeks so that's no lie, you can have them with or without the nail art on them. I just thought it was something extra so they weren't plain. I think these sort of nails would be perfect for going on holiday or people that like having there nails done but can't because of their type of job or children etc.

As you can see the blue ones are the second time i had them done and my nails are noticeablly longer. They grew so fast and they were stronger but not so strong. When i took them off which the second time i did at home, (if you would like a video or tips on taking gel nails of at home comment and i will) they were very weak but i put on some f my Sally Hansen Hard as nails on and filed them so they had no splits etc in them and they are still long and strong now.

So that's my nails a week after taking the gel polish of myself at home. If i didn't put the hardner on they would of snapped so i would recommend getting one of them because you do take the polish of with naul polish which is bad for your nails.

Anyway i hope this helped you and i will speak to you tomorrow,

Why i'm starting college...

Hi Guys,

So today i am starting a college course at the Dearne Valley College, and its a Beauty Therapy Level 2 course. It's a year long and at the end of it i will have a diploma in beauty therapy so i could start work in a salon, be self employed etc. There is 6 key units in the course which are:

  • Health & Safety
  • Salon reception duties, i already have experience in this as i have worked in two salons before but just as the receptionist but i haven't got a choice in doing it ha ha.
  • Facial, Make up & Eye treatments
  • Waxing treatments (ouch)
  • Manicure, Pedicure & Nail Enhancements
  • Skills week activities which is when someone comes in and you learn how to do ear piercing, spray tanning etc, that was just an example given and i don't know if we will actually do that ha ha.
Then through the course you are assessed and you have to do assignments of both physical and non physical, put together a portfolio of evidence and do units and tests.

After the course you can follow on and do a Level 3 course of beauty therapy, body and spa course or nail tech. I think after the course is finished i will go on to do all of them and i will also be interested in doing my hairdressing as well. Just because i love all of them things and i would love to be able to do them professionally as a career.

The reason im starting college now and didn't back when I finished school is because I know what I want to do with my future now and back then I didn't I just wanted any job there was and to get some money. You can't expect yourself at 15/16 year old to know your future you change and your environment changes etc etc... and I am a lot older now and it is my hobby. I have been into makeup for years now and I learnt what I know now from you tube videos  I used to watch Kandee Johnsons tutorials everyday again and again and she inspired me that you can do whatever you want in life and it doesn't matter what anybody thinks or says.

But I thought I would share this with you maybe because your interested in starting a beauty course and wanted an inset. Or your confused about what you want to do in life. It's never to late to do anything especially nowadays. Never live in regret and do what makes you happy

Thanks for reading and I hope maybe this helped some of you,

POTM - Perfume of the month

Hi Guys,

So this month i have been loving this perfume by Katy Perry called Meow. I bought it for my holiday back in May because it was a real girly, summery smell and also wasn't to heavy for the day time but you could also wear it at night as a flirty sort of scent. It's main accords are vanilla, sweet, fruity, white floral & powdery. Now the only thing i found about it is i do have to spray some more on me to still be able to smell it, it wears off quite quickly. I love the bottle and it makes a good bedroom decoration ha ha. All in all i would rate this 8/10.

I would recommend this fragrance for someone in there late teens/early 20's as i think its a really girly smell but not a young girly smell. For an alternative young girly smell you may like is the Britney Spears - Fantasy perfume.

Room/Closet Tour

Hi Guys,

So today i filmed a room/closet tour i thought it was the perfect time as i was changing my wardrobe over from summer to winter stuff. I'm so sorry that when you watch my video that i didn't turn my light on so you can't see things properly!! Durrrr me ha ha. So i made this video for people that may need help with how to organize there things and where to put things etc, i had no clue when i first decorated my room last year what to do with it but as i grew older and was in my room a lot longer i played and managed to find places for mostly everything.

I am having a second room soon so i can have a beauty/closet room because i have too much stuff for just one tiny wardrobe ha ha. So you will have to keep your eyes open for when i have done all that.

All the things i have:

  • Malm Chest of 2 Drawers IKEA - £35
  • Malm Chest of 4 Drawers IKEA - £55
  • Malm Chest of 6 Drawers IKEA - £75

First Impressions - Rimmel Foundation

Hi Guys,

So yesterday when i went shopping i picked up some new foundation as iv'e been using the same one for years now and fancied a change. I didn't read any reviews about any foundations before i bought it but did after. I have oily-combination skin and every person said "i wouldn't recommend this if you have oily skin" ha ha. Thanks people!?!... But that's the problem with the drugstore makeup you don't have anybody there to offer advice etc. Anyway it's too late now and i might as well give it ago, if it really doesn't go right i will give it to a friend ha ha.

So the foundation i got was the Rimmel, Wake Me Up. It says it has a light moisturizing texture that applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable all day. It gives an instant flawless, natural looking finish.
Nicked picture off Google

So first of all i do like the bottle it self and i like that it's glass instead of just plain old plastic and i like the orange colored top and that it has a pump. I used it this morning and the consistency is real good as my other was runny and this one isn't it has light- medium coverage but is build able. I love how it looks on my skin and the dewy radiant look I have. But because I do have oily skin I had to top it up with powder and blotching strips. I wouldn't wear this on a night out or a busy day but if im just nipping out somewhere then I definitely would. So I do love this foundation but it definitely is better for people with non oily skin.

Thanks for reading guys and i will speak to you tomorrow.

Throwback Thursday

Hi Guys,

So today it's thursday which means its time to do a throwback. I am going to try and switch these up so there not just pictures of the same baby just in a different outfit haha.

So today I have done a comparison of me and my mum. In the photo we are the same age which is 19. But obviously im not going to look all like my mum as I do have some of my dads featured too. I think its so weird looking back at photos like this and thinking wow my mum was my age once too ha ha. And one day ill have a daughter that will probably think the same.

Hope you enjoyed this throwback and I will speak to you tomorrow.

Boyfriend Haul

Hi Guys,
So its mine & David's (my boyfriend) anniversary coming up next week and obviously that means presents and celebrating our first year together. And today i went shopping in town with my friend for his presents, now shopping for guys can be hard but if you know what they are into or what they like then its quite easy ha ha. I went with what he needed more than what he wanted because you appreciate it more. I am romantic not too romantic but i'm a cancer so i'm emotional and i love this guy and i want him to know that i can buy him nice presents ha ha, no i'm joking.

So here's a picture and the price and where i got the items from :)
So this is a polo shirt that my boyfriend had his eye on for a while and really wanted. Soooo i thought it would be a nice surprise for him to have it as a present. It is from jack and jones which is his favorite shop so that's a bonus too and it was £22 which i thought wasn't bad at all. Especially because men's clothing can be quite expensive sometimes.

These three tops are from Next and he loves these and has had them before but he ruined them by decorating in them so again i thought why not!?! They were on offer 3 for £15 which isn't bad at all. I did ask him about these because he is quite picky with colors for t-shirts so he does know he has them.

Next i got him a money pot along with the one i bought myself just for something fun for us both to do and when there full we can put out money together and put it towards something nice like a holiday, our own place... you get the idea. This was from amazon and it was £9.99 i know they sell them in Clinton cards but they have so much choice online and its the same or cheaper price anyway :)

This is a DVD of our year together (told you i was romantic) i just thought you can buy anybody clothes take them out for a fancy meal but i doesn't really show them how much you mean to them. So i thought if i did something that took time to do and i started it from scratch it would mean so much more than a couple of t-shirts etc. But before i make you feel any more sick i will stop on this one ha ha. P.s if you would like a DIY craft video on how i made this DVD then please comment below and i will do one :)

Then i got the basics, wrapping paper, card etc... I was going to get the moon pig cards that you can get but i thought that with the DVD is a bit 'OTT' for him anyway ha ha. This was all from the Card factory and all cost under £5.

Anyway i hope you liked my 'boyfriend haul' and if it helped you out with ideas for you boyfriend let me know or if you have any tips etc then comment i love reading them. Have a nice day guys and i will see you tomorrow.

What I was up to this weekend...

Hi guys,

So this weekend I went down south to visit my boyfriend and his family for a birthday to sort his house and to see each other, obviously ha ha. This time on the train wasn't bad at all thank goodness! It takes so long to get down there that we decided that we needed to go for a drink, just one at first. Buuuuut if your boyfriends are anything like mine one quickly turns into a couple more and if your dumb like me you will try to keep up ha ha. How silly was I!! So that's why I couldn't blog the Saturday because I felt a little ill!! I blame the other half ha ha.

On the Saturday we went down to Bournemouth for the Air festival and it was such a nice day and I have never seen a seaside resort so full in my life!! I love places like that it makes me feel so happy. We missed the red arrows which was disappointing because the traffic was so bad. But we did get see them from the traffic queue ha ha.

Then on the the Sunday we went to my boyfriends nephews 1st birthday party! It was so cute and he enjoyed it so much but then so would I with that amount of new toys ha ha. But we had to rush off back to the train station for me after so I was soooo tired when I got home. I'm not complaining about a busy weekend though!

Thanks for reading and I will see you tomorrow :)
